I'm wondering how many weeks notice I have to give, and whether I will be entitled to holiday pay or not? I've not taken any of this years holiday, as yet, so am wondering if I will be owed for them or not? I can't remember how they work it! Also, if I hand my notice in on Sunday, will I have to work the following two (or however many) Sundays, or will this week count as the first day of my notice? I've managed to find the part of my contract that I signed, but can't find the handbook where all the rules are listed! I also have another job, and have been offered more hours there, so am hoping to hand my notice in to Tesco this Sunday.
I currently work for Tesco, contracted to work 8.5 hours per week, on a Sunday. I just wondered if there are any Tesco employees on here who happen to have the staff handbook nearby?
